The REIV Board is made up of ten Directors elected from the membership, eight from the Metropolitan region and two from regional Victoria. The Board may appoint up to two additional Directors.

A licensed real estate agent holding a Bachelor of Behavioural Science, Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
Head of Property Management_ Operations at Besser + Co since Sept 2023 and previously held the role of Training Manager for Little Real Estate.
As a specialist in property management, he has held senior roles with a number of Victorian real estate groups. He also has significant experience in corporate marketing in the automotive, banking and energy sectors.
Appointed by the Board to fill a casual vacancy from 8 August 2022 to 30 September 2023 and elected as a Director from October 2023.
Sam was awarded an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of Australia (AREI) in 2024.

Vice President from October 2023 and Senior Vice President from January 2024. Following the revised Constitution and Office bearer roles, appointed Vice President from 28 October 2024.

A licensed real estate agent specialising in property management. Previously a Director of Mitchell Property Management and Geelong Property Managers and currently a Director of BnB Property Managers and MitchellPT, which is a training and events company delivering training and events throughout Victoria. Elected to the Board from the Regional Zone from 1 October 2022.
Hayley was awarded an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of Australia (AREI) in 2024.

Managing Director at Compton Green, bringing over three decades of real estate expertise to the Board. With prestigious industry awards to his name and one of the country’s leading auctioneers, he possesses a wealth of knowledge and an extensive industry network. He has been involved with REIV in a range of capacities for around 30 years including winning the title of Senior Auctioneer of the Year four times in 1998, 2001, 2004, and 2010. He is a coach and mentor to many auctioneers and was the main driver in the development of the former Young Agents Group Chapter in the mid 2010s.
Member of the Hobsons Bay Community Fund since 2014 including chairman from 2018-2025. Prior to this, was the President of the Rotary Club of Williamstown and has served on several local council advisory boards.
Served as a senior REIV Board member between 2011 to 2014 including Snr. Vice President 2012-2013; and was re-elected to the Board from the Metropolitan Zone from 1 October 2023.

Mark is an Independent Buyers & Vendors Advocate and Property Management Investment Advisor, based in the North West of Melbourne. Mark is a second-generation real estate agent with wide ranging real estate experience as an Auctioneer, Sales Consultant, Senior Property Manager and Franchise Director within one of Australia’s well established and respected networks, Raine & Horne. Further community advocacy as Chairperson of the Essendon North Village Traders Association 2019-2021 and ongoing Committee Member.
Director, Co-founder of Master Advocates Real Estate Services established 2014, Licensed Estate Agent (REIV) CEA, DipPropServ (Agency Mgt), and Accredited Member of the Real Estate Buyers Agents Association of Australia since 2014, elected (REBAA) State Representative of Victoria 2020-2023. Member of additional national associations and networks (AICD) the Australian Institute of Company Directors and (PIPA) Property Investment Professionals of Australia.
Mark served on the (REIV) Buyers Agents Chapter Committee and Members Council Delegate 2014-2023 and is a 3-time Awards for Excellence Finalist. Mark stated that one key highlight and privilege in service to the (REIV) as a Director, has been participating and contributing to the (REIV) Board Member Building Working Group: New Headquarters Acquisition, Design and Construction of 617 Victoria Street Abbotsford, VIC 3067.
Mark was elected to the Board from the Metropolitan Zone from 1 October 2023.

An experienced CEO, Non-Executive Director, Board Chair and lawyer. Agata was both a Partner in an international law firm, King & Wood Mallesons, and General Counsel and Company Secretary at State Trustees. Currently CEO of healthAbility, providing health and disability services; Director at ERMHA, a not for profit supporting people throughout Victoria and the Northern Territory with mental illness or disability; and Board Director at The Disability Trust, a not for profit supporting people Nationally with mental illness or disability.
A Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Re-appointed for a fourth term as an Additional Director by the Board from 8 August 2024.

Anthony is a second-generation licensed estate agent and auctioneer with over two decades of expertise in the real estate industry. Working in a family-run business, his skills span property management and sales, and he has been an REIV Auctioneer Finalist for three consecutive years.
Elected to the Board from the Metropolitan Zone from 1 October 2024.
Special Responsibilities
Served on the Sales Chapter for five years, both as a member and as chair, in addition to his role on the Members’ Council.

A licensed real estate agent and auctioneer also holding a Diploma of Business and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. Currently the Membership Director at First National Real Estate. Previously, Darren was the Head of Property Management at RT Edgar Toorak, and owner and Director of Ray White Heidelberg
Ongoing active involvement as a volunteer and in the management of a number of charitable organisations.

Damian leads the team at Ray White Mildura, where his team consistently achieves excellence in customer service and sales.
His most recent honors include the 2024 CEO's Cup, recognition as one of the Top 5 Principals for both Number of Sales (No. 2) and Settled Commission (No. 3), and multiple Chairman’s Elite awards. He has also been recognised as the REB Regional Agent of the Year Australia multiple times and continues to push the boundaries of what his business can achieve.

Actively involved in charitable fundraising in the local community.

A licensed real estate agent and actively involved in real estate activities since 2001. A Director of Melbourne based commercial agency Allard Shelton Pty Ltd with vast knowledge and experience in all sectors of the property market.
Previously served as Director in 2014 - 2017 including as President of the REIV from 2015 – 2017. Director of REIA 2015-2017 and Member of FIABCI.

Samantha is an experienced Non-Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary who brings a background in finance, audit and risk governance and management across a range of corporate and for-purpose organisations.
As a CFO in the Aged and Disability care sector since 2018, Samantha’s portfolios include finance, procurement, asset and facility management, business optimisation and data analytics.
She brings extensive real estate experience as a former Non-Executive Director at Common Equity Housing Ltd, Australia's largest co-operative housing provider which has over 2,000 properties providing afforable housing to tenants across Victoria.
Samantha an Australian Champion Tarmac Rally Co-driver, and Secretary of the Tarmac Rally Competitors Association of Australia Incorporated.
A Chartered Accountant and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

CEO of Ray White CRE since 2024, formerly Caine Real Estate, until 30 June 2025. Appointed by the REIV Board as a Nominated Director on the Board of Realestateview.com.au Ltd from 2017 until 1 October 2020. Global ambassador for the Harvard Extension School.
Jacob has been an active Member of the REIV as a member of the former Young Agents Chapter Committee, Members’ Council Delegate and Chair of the former REIV Melbourne Central Division Committee.
