The REIV Women in Real Estate Event (WIRE) is a new professional development experience designed to support and elevate women across the real estate sector. Bringing together influential voices from business, leadership, sport, media and governance, WIRE creates space for reflection, learning and meaningful connection.
Through a curated program of keynote presentations, in-conversation sessions and structured networking, the event explores the themes shaping modern real estate careers — including leadership, confidence, innovation and long-term performance. Attendees will gain practical tools and perspectives to strengthen capability, navigate challenges and drive sustainable career growth.
Open to professionals at all stages, from emerging talent to established leaders and supportive allies, WIRE provides a platform to share experience, build confidence and champion the contribution of women driving progress across the industry.
Designed as both a celebration and a catalyst, REIV’s WIRE offers a valuable opportunity to invest in professional development, expand networks and contribute to a stronger, more inclusive future for real estate.

To support WPI’s mission, the REIV will host a charity auction, with 100% of proceeds funding safe and secure housing for women and children in need. Held at the close of the conference, the auction will feature standout prizes including:
A weekend driving a Porsche Macan
A 5-user RP Data Premium 12-month package valued at over $6,000
A luxury overnight stay at Crown Towers
All proceeds will go directly to WPI, helping accelerate the delivery of safe, long-term housing for women and children across Victoria.
WPI is a registered charity creating new beginnings for women and children through long-term, affordable housing. Founded in 1996 by a group of determined women, WPI has grown from its first 11 homes to more than 130 owned properties and a further 166 under management, providing secure housing to over 520 women and children.

REIV is proud to host a clothing drive at WIRE in support of Dress for Success Victoria, an organisation that empowers women to step confidently into employment, leadership and long-term career success.

Leadership journey, the Gender Pay Gap re Superannuation and women’s pathway to financial empowerment
Claire is a professional director with extensive executive experience with listed corporates, not for profit organisations and government enterprises. She is the Chair and Independent Director of REI Superannuation, the industry superannuation fund for the real estate industry. In addition, Claire is Chair of GMHBA and was recently appointed as Chancellor of Deakin University commencing in January 2026.
Claire has held positions as Board Chair, director, and committee member for a range of private and public organisations including Ryman Healthcare Limited, Vital Healthcare Property Trust, Helen Macpherson Smith Trust, RT Health Fund, the Victorian State Emergency Service, Country Fire Authority, Ambulance Victoria, and Barwon Health.
