Ringwood is located 23 km east of the CBD. Ringwood is the major commercial centre for the outer eastern suburbs with large amounts of business activity concentrated along the Maroondah Hwy. It also features Eastland and Ringwood Square shopping centres and the Ringwood Market. Ringwood is an important transport centre as the junction for the Belgrave and Lilydale railway lines and a major terminus for a number of bus services. The suburb also features Jubilee Park and the Ringwood Public Golf Course.
