The Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) is proud to co-host the Australasian Auctioneering Championships (AUSTROS) from 19–21 May, alongside the Real Estate Institute of Australia’s (REIA) National Awards for Excellence (NAFE) on 21 May in Melbourne, Victoria.
The AUSTROS is an annual event celebrating the best auctioneers in Australia and New Zealand. Conducted jointly by the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) and the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ), the Championships have become the most prestigious event on the Australasian Auctioneering calendar.
In addition to showcasing the industry’s elite, the AUSTROS competition also shines a spotlight on the future of auctioneering with a dedicated Australasian Novice Auctioneering Championships (ANAC) program. This exciting platform gives rising star auctioneers the chance to test their skills in a competitive setting, gaining invaluable experience as they step into the spotlight. Designed to nurture emerging talent, the Novice competition runs alongside the main event, providing a thrilling display of potential, passion, and the next generation of auctioneering excellence.
NAFE is the only national, independently judged and practitioner led real estate awards in Australia. Those awarded in Melbourne on 21 May 2026, will be the best real estate practitioner or agency in their category, judged and selected by experts in the field.
